Waiting at the bus stop yesterday, as you do, some OAP was there before me, i was her last hope of helping her find the bus that she was on when she lost her home keys...
Little Old Lady: Cold isn't it?
Me: Yup, Hope it doesn't rain (Thinking "Please don't talk to me, I'm trying to listen to Chameleon Circuit..SHH!)
Little Old Lady: I lost my keys to my house, i think they fell out of my pocket on the bus, It's the 14A i'm looking for.
Me: Oh unlucky, good luck finding them. (Deep sigh inside)
**1 first bus and 1 Arriva Bus starts to come down the hill towards the bus stop, one being the 14A and one being the 14**
Little Old Lady: Can you see if any of those is the 14A?
Me: I think they're both the 14, sorry.
Little Old Lady: Oh damn.
Turns out that the First bus WAS the 14A and we casually watched it zoom past, me waving the the cheaper one behind it, the Arriva.
Little Old Lady: Oh it was the 14A oh dear, such a wasted journey.
Me: Oh my god i'm so sorry. I can't see even with glasses. Sorry!
Little Old Lady: Nevermind i'll just go back home and call my daughter and maybe she'll have her keys. Bye!
Me: Goodbye! Sorry about that and good luck finding them if you do find them!
